So, it turns out that getting rear-ended while stopped at a crosswalk is fraught with all sorts of complications that I wouldn't have expected. I've just come from my doctor and I now must take up to 3 weeks off work, and start a physiotherapy regimen tomorrow. I've been to the claims adjustor, and the insurance company is laughing in its collective sleeve at me. I am, however, determined to take it all in stride. After all, a positive attitude is positively correlated with a speedy recovery.

It is funny about missing work, though. I find myself feeling guilty. I have every reason to be taking time off (pain and doctor's orders foremost among them) but still I feel like I am letting them down somehow.

I am looking forward to this all being behind me.

My entries will be mercifully short, though likely more frequent for a while, as I will be home, but typing hurts.
